Join us on Saturday 21st May for a evening under the stars at one of Kaikōura’s most iconic historic sites. This community stargazing event is a chance to gather, connect, and admire the magic of our night skies.
Saturday 21st June | 7.30pm – 9.00pm
Location: Fyffe House, Kaikōura
🔭 What to Expect:
Telescopes – View stars, planets, and deep-sky objects through telescopes with guidance from local astronomers.
Astrophotography – Bring your phone or camera and join with other photographers to capture the celestial beauty of the evening.
VR Headsets – Explore the night sky in a whole new way using Stellarium in immersive virtual reality.
Bonfires – Warm up around a fire.
Koha: $5 per person
All proceeds go to the Kaikōura Dark Sky Trust to support conservation, education & night sky protection initiatives
