The 12th of September 2026 marks two years since the Kaikōura Dark Sky Sanctuary was officially recognised, and we’d love our community to come and celebrate with us.
Join the Kaikōura Dark Sky Trust at Fyffe House for a relaxed evening around the fire, catching up with friends and celebrating our very special dark skies.
If the skies are clear, we’ll bring out the laser pointer, telescopes and binoculars and spend some time exploring the night sky together. Whether you’re a keen stargazer or simply fancy an evening around the fire, everyone is welcome.
