The Kaikōura Dark Sky Trust invite you and your whanau to join with us at Fyffe House on Wednesday 11 September from 7pm for a stargazing party with telescopes, speeches, hot drinks & treats.
- Look through a traditional telescope and view planets such as Jupiter and Saturn.
- Control the eVscope using our touchpad or your phone using the Stellarium app – take photos of specific night sky objects and download.
- Enjoy a hot drink and tasty treate
- Warm your hands by the fire pit and toast marshallows (weather and fire permit dependant)
Time: 7.00pm until 9.00pm.
Where: Fyffe House, 62 Avoca Street
Top Tips: Dress warm!! Coat, hat, gloves etc. Bring a headtorch with a red light setting. We highly recommend checking out our stargazing tips section before you come for the best experience on the night.
