Come along and discover the splendours of the Kaikōura night sky on Friday 20th October 2023.
Kaikōura Astronomers invite you and your whanau to join us for a free community stargazing evening from Hapuku School. Due to the incredible support of Destination Kaikōura and the Kaikōura Lions we now have a fantastic eVscope and two touch pads which you can use to control the telescope to view objects of specific interest in the night sky. This is a very interactive experience!
Time: Come anytime from 8pm until late.
Where: Hapuku School, 596 Kincaid Road, Hapuku
Top Tips: Dress warm!! Coat, hat, gloves etc. We highly recommend checking out our stargazing tips section before you come for the best experience on the night.
